Minimalism Phase1

I think in photography minimalism is when photos are simplistic. The photos have a simple, small, and basic subjects.


 I found that this image is very simplistic and minimal because of the smooth texture of the water and only a single object.
 In this image the pattern in the snow is very simple.
The colors shown are calming and minimal.

Cubism Reflection

1) I determined the subject for this project by taking something i had laying around and showing different aspects of it by comparing the dead and the living rose. 2) For this project I took roughly 40 photos in order to capture different angles and areas of the flower. 3) During this project one challenge was definitely incorporating the pieces of the photo together without taking away from the complete look and making it too busy. 4) If i was given a second time to do this project i think i would try and add more pieces and possibly have a more simple background so there wasn't too much happening in the image.
