"The Last Girl" continued

The viewpoint of the photograph "The Last Girl" by Helnwein changes my interpretation of the image because i can now see that it's a real photograph and the girl is just a mural or picture on a billboard. I can now see that the girl displayed is not real, however the man in the picture was real and in the new photo you can see there are actually multiple people working on the mural. It appears to be on a body of water with a dock in front of it. The girl is very pale with a blank expression on her face. I think because the size is so large it makes the picture have a greater impact and makes the emotion shown in her face more powerful. I think this continuous image would have been hard to assemble because of it's size and location, still, it was done very well and it looks effortless. I think it's in a residential location where many people will see it, which is probably the artist's intention so he can share the emotion displayed. Her face is very sad and lonely which makes the mood very gloomy. This may also be the reason for the title. She may be all alone so she's feeling very scared and unsure of what to do.
